Our Community
In our latest film project, we followed the life of Ankita, a remarkable young carer who has taken on the responsibility of supporting her family after the recent loss of her father. This project is part of our ongoing commitment to raise awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable people in our city and the invaluable support provided to them by Leicester City in the Community (LCitC).
Inspire Change
As this was our third film commissioned by LCitC, we aimed to experiment with our storytelling style while maintaining the emotional core of Ankita’s narrative. We focused on creating an intimate portrait of Ankita and her family. Our approach emphasised genuine interactions and candid moments, allowing the viewer to connect deeply with their experiences.
Ankita’s journey highlights the critical role of young carers and the support systems that can make a significant difference in their lives. By documenting her daily experiences, we aim to shed light on the challenges faced by young carers while celebrating their resilience and dedication.
Our collaboration with LCitC continues to be a powerful testament to the impact of community support on individuals and families facing adversity.
