Sugar Granny?!
Our idea for the Social Media Campaign was to Promote the Leicester Gift Card around a tongue-in-cheek comedy narrative. The story follows a young man who receives a gift card from his grandma, seemingly with an unlimited budget. He then spends the day treating himself and his group of friends to a day of reckless spending and lavish living.
Behind the Stocking
Our vision was a fast-paced, stylised story lovingly poking fun at holiday tropes, shot in popular Leicester locales. Shooting guerilla-style, our cinematographer captured the comedic absurdity with dynamic, dramatic framing. The exhaustive process stretched our physical and creative endurance, yet the passion of our scrappy crew and troupe of talented actors infused every frame with energy and fun.
